About the client

A specialty aftermarket automotive performance-parts company designs, assembles, and sells parts and kits across a retail storefront, eCommerce, and wholesale channels. Growth had outpaced a legacy order-management system that could not support mobility or integrated reporting.

A legacy order system that couldn't keep up with multi-channel growth

  • Legacy order-management platform no longer viable for a growing multi-channel operation
  • No mobile or tablet access for shop-floor and warehouse staff
  • Manual, disconnected reporting with no self-serve dashboards
  • Shipping, barcoding, and inventory running outside the system of record
  • No single system of record across finance, inventory, and multi-channel sales

One system of record, from finance to the shop floor

We implemented D365 Business Central as a single system of record and migrated the business off its legacy order-management platform, spanning general ledger and payables, inventory with kitting and BOMs, warehousing, purchasing, and multi-channel sales, with an integrated shipping system.
